Personal Profile

Sarah’s curiosity about psychology culminated in a return to university in 2006. Her principal research area is mindfulness, and how this relates to physical and psychological well-being in young people and adults. She has been part of the “Mindfulness in Schools Project” research and training team since 2010.

Sarah's PhD involves the study of the psychological characteristics of health-related behaviours during pregnancy, and the potential of mindfulness training to improve pregnant women's ability to achieve their health behaviour goals, specifically regarding diet, exercise, alcohol and smoking.
